Ponting Warns His Team Against Pakistan.


Australia (Sydney): Australian captain Ponting has warned his side against underestimating the unpredictable Pakistan team in the second cricket Test. Australia won the first Test at Melbourne by a convincing 170-run margin, but Ponting knows that Pakistan have the talent to turn the tables on the hosts.

According to Ponting, "Pakistan are known to come up with gutsy performance with their backs to the wall" He further quoted, "Unperdictability is the nature of Pakistan's Players and team as wel, They are already talking up the fact they think they can bounce back quickly.
Ponting asked his bowlers to maintain the standard of the Melbourne performance for the rest of the three-match series. It seems that OZ Skipper is not yet confident against Pakistan it could suffer his own performance in the further matches as well.

Yousuf Is Upset As Younis Is Not Joining Team.


Pakistan (Karachi):- As Pakistan is once again struggling against oz regarding batting lineup. According to skipper Yousi Pakistan need a senion batsman in the lineup. On the other hand Younis is also willing to join the team against oz, But PCB is not interested in sendinPakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf is disappointed at his board turning down the team management's request to send senior batsman Younis to Australia to reinforce the batting line-up ahead of the second Test but said he has accepted the decision.g Younis. Instead of Younis Yousuf confirmed that leg-spinner Kaneria and pacer Umar Gul are fit and available for the second Test.

Aamer Will Miss Against Australia In 2nd Test.


Australia (Sydney): Pakistan pacer Aamer will not play in the second test against Australia to get rid of possible injury. As Aamer had serious stiffness around his hamstring muscles after the first Test against Australia in Melbourne that ended Dec 30. The left-handed speedster generated pace and touched 150 kmph on a few occasions. Pakistan is looking for a series level victory against Aussies in Second Test Match. Aamer absense is a bit shock for the pakistan team as He was Pakistan's most incisive bowler in the first Test, taking his career's first five-wicket haul in the second innings. With Aamer out, both pacers Umar Gull and Mohammad Sami will be returning to the line-up for the SCG Test.

Leg spinner Danish Kaneria will also be back in the side after missing the Melbourne Test because of an injured finger. Pakistan is hoping good from Kaneria and Sami return as both have performed well in New Zealand and Quaid -E - Azam Trophy respectively.
