London: Kevin Pietersen left the leadership of his team due to conflict with Coach Peter Moores. But Pietersen believes he will be back in charge of the national team at some stage in the future and also insisted that his relationship with Andrew Flintoff had not broken down.
Indeed, he claimed that the star all-rounder had wanted him to remain at the controls of a team who will aim to reclaim the Ashes in six months' time.
KP quoted "But right now, I feel it is right for me to go back and just play - to do something that I love, which is scoring runs for England." He also said that he will support the new captain Andrew Strauss.
